neutrogena naturals cleanser review

Hey there you beautiful things.
I meant to include this product in my recent purchase video on youtube (which you can watch here) but it was up in my other bathroom and I had already finished recording by the time I remembered!

So I thought that I would do a review on it now as I have tried it a couple times now.

(again sorry for bad quality, I really need to get into the habit of taking pretty photos of all my products!!)
What attracted me to this product in the first place was the packaging of it. I really liked the idea of it being in a pump bottle so it means that it doesn't have to get all over your hands! The second thing that made me buy this was all the nasties that it doesn't have it in. Generally when you read that it doesn't have any bad things in it you think it will be pretty good.
The first time that I used it I got it in my eyes. I thought it was okay to use on my eyes because there wasn't a scary label saying "DO NOT GET THIS IN YOUR EYES"... anyway my eyes turned so red that it looked like I had become an online gamer who doesn't get off except to sleep, eat and go to the bathroom. So the next time I used it I avoided the eye area and everything was fine.
The product itself has an apple scent to it, which I quite enjoyed. The texture isn't quite a solid liquid but sort of more on the runny side of things.
I just put it onto a cotton pad, wipe off most of my makeup, pop in the shower and then take off everything else with a makeup wipe and then moisturise.
Part of me wants to try more from this Neurogena naturals range, but if I have the same reaction with my eye to all the other products I'm not sure I want to risk it..

Have you tried something from this range? Did you enjoy it ?

Covergirl outlast stay brilliant nail polish review

I'm not to sure why but I sort of had high expectations for this nail polish. I think it's because of the description on the website "combines a base coat, high gloss color, and a chip-resistant top coat in one simple step". I picked up the two colours in the shades Mint Mojito and Black Diamond.
Here is a photo of my ugly nails with both colours painted on...

argh sorry for the bad background! ugly work kitchen table!!

I've been looking for another black nail polish because lately I have been using a BYS matte nail polish which I love to pieces but its almost all gone.. So I was on the hunt for another black nail polish and I saw that Covergirl had buy one get one free so I decided to get these two.. The mint one because I have been reading EVERYWHERE about mint nail polishes.. I blame Lily Pebbles and Vivianna

ANYWAY. these nail polishes I am a bit iffy about. The black one you definitely need more than 2 coats as it was quiet transparent for the first two coats, unless you put it on really thick which I found to be difficult to control. I found that both colours became quite streaky and it was difficult to make it even.. if that is even the right word? I think the mint colour I had on for about three days before it started to chip, which I think is good? I've just painted my nails with the black so I will update you on how long that lasts without chipping!
Chipped nail polish frustrates me greatly so I think I need to invest in some more winter colours as most of my nail polishes are bright summer colours. I think I should also get into the habit of changing my nails on a regular basis..

I think the nail polishes are okay - not the best. I will probably go and pick up some more colours and then maybe that will change my mind!

Has anyone else tried these nail polishes? What color would you suggest me to try next?

new evain water ad

Oh my god if this isn't the cutest thing I've ever seen then I don't know what is..
I was just watching the morning show and they showed this clip! It is so adorable!
I think from the ad these two are my fave babies!

I hope this brings some smile into your day :)
I, on the other hand am trying to do some uni work,
but my neighbours are having some work done on their driveway,
which is right next to my bedroom.
So everything is quiet noisy so it is hard to concentrate, which isn't good.
So I think today might just be a lazy day getting little bits and pieces done.

What are you beautiful people up to today? I hope you do something fun :)

lush bathbombs

I decided the other day to spoil myself so I went to lush and picked out two bath bombs. The first one that I picked up was the one called "Dragons Egg" as I had never tried it before. It was honestly one of the coolest bath time experiences that I have had to date! The description of this bomb doesn't really give away too much. I was expecting colour and a fantastic smell which you get with all lush bath bombs, but I was not expecting the amazing colour that came out of it - not to mention the metallic glitter!! It was so entertaining to watch this bath bomb literally explode there's no other way I can describe it. After the first layer broke down a bit the vibrant orange started to show. I don't know how to describe the rest. The only thing I can say is go and purchase this little gem!
The water did turn a colour that made me look like I had a very bad accident but afterwards my skin is feeling pretty amazing and moisturised! One thing that I didn't quite understand was there was this stuff floating in the water.. it felt like boogers.. I don't know if this was rice paper or what is was!
anyway here are some photos of the bomb in action - maybe they will show you what I was failing to describe :)

sorry for the bad photos, they are just off my iphone :)

Have you tried any of the lush bath bombs? Which one would you recommend me trying next?
Have a lovely day/night :)

OOTD #1

I thought I would start posting my outfits on a regular basis. So here is my outfit that I wore today just out to my local shopping centre.

My makeup that I wore today. This is usually my "go to" makeup look if I'm just going out locally and it's nothing special.

annnnnnd this is the outfit that I chose to wear. It was a little bit daring considering it was only 20 degrees today so I was a little bit cold in the shopping center, but sometimes you just have to sacrifice in order to look good.
