I can’t even start to begin to describe how much of an
emotional roller coaster today was.
Today it was my brothers 15th
birthday so we got up early to watch him open his presents. Everyone then just
went off and did there own thing before we went into the city with my
grandparents. We went to a place called “Chill On”, which is literally a bar
made all out of ice. It was a totally new and such a weird experience. We all
had to put ugg boats gloves and this massive poncho cape with a hood on and we
were locked in a room that connected onto the bar. It was good that we got
there early because it was only just us for a good ten minutes and then more
people started to come in. All the drinks are served in glass made of ice, it was just
awesome.
However, all for the sort amount of time that we were in there I was
getting myself more and more worked up about receiving my university
preferences. We then made the very slow and hot walk to our favourite place to eat in the city and it came closer and closer to two o’clock and I was just getting more nervous by the minute. I then received a text message from my best friend saying that she had got into the course that she wanted, which is so exciting because it means that she is definitely moving to Melbourne! It took me forever to get onto the website, it kept telling me that there was an error and I started to panic. I finally got on after probably 2357 times of trying and I got accepted into my first preference course!
I am now a
university student J
I am going to be studying a double degree doing Bachelor of Visual
Communication and Bachelor of Business (Public Relations) at Swinburne. I am
absolutely over the moon; I’m literally jumping on my chair with excitement.
For some stupid reason we decided to go to Docklands to go
to the shopping complex there in 40 degree heat.. of course I did a spot of
shopping a bought two skirts, pair of pyjama pants and a pair of lacy shorts.
I think I’m still in shock of the whole situation. I can’t
believe that finally after all the hard work that I put into year 12 last year
it’s finally paid off and I am going to be doing something that I enjoy.
I’m happy I’m finally happy and content with my life.
Everything has finally worked out for me and things can only get better from
here. Lilly moves here MONDAY, holycrapballs so soon!
Well I’m going to love ya and leave ya. My next blog will be in a few days, but
knowing me it will probably be tomorrow hehe.
Lots and lots of love,
A very happy Bronte
