favourite items in my room

I watched Zoella's "room tour" video on Youtube and it inspired me to do this post.

So here are some of the small trinkets that are my favourite in my room.

I really like the way that I have set everything up in this small corner of my desk. I feel like it really shows my personality and my style I guess? I like how everything works together nicely. 

I just received this in the mail this morning from my grandparents. I thought it was really sweet of them to get me this card when they really shouldn't have, especially because it wasn't a cheap card, but it just feels special because they were with me yesterday when I found out that I had been accepted into University and I just feel like I have to include it.
Inside is written: Dear Bronte, Congratulations and wishing you happiness in the journey's of learning and life. grandma and grandpa xxx
They are truly the most beautiful human beings and I love them.

If I find a quote that I enjoy I'll often write it down and make it look pretty and stick it on my wall. I really liked this quote because it reminds me that I just have to face my fears and step out of my comfort zone and live my life.

I found this little beauty in a auction shop in South Melbourne and I just fell in love with the detailing and how rustic it is, I just couldn't walk away from it and it was only $13 too, so it was a little bargin. I havent' found a good place for it yet, but its quiet difficult because I know we're moving houses soon, so maybe in our new house it will have a prime postion in my room.

This is a hand made vase from Turkey. One of my friends bought it back for me from a school trip. I was really surprised to see how well he had done in choosing me a gift and how he got the colours right for me as well. 

I have a slight obsession with skulls and this is just part of my collection. I've seen these skull shot glasses on Urban Outfitters, but i've never had enough that I wanted to buy on there that I'd get free shipping, so I kept my eye out for them and sure enough I found them at a quirky shop at my local shopping center. Now I'm not much of a drinker and I haven't even used these, I do however use them to put flowers in because I love having fresh flowers in my room.

I received this painting for my 18th birthday last year from my mum. I'd seen this painting in a little fashion boutique and loved it, so mum bought it for me. And yes it is Lana Del Rey.

So that was a little insight to my bedroom favourites. I did have something else that I wanted to post and that was my bed when it has all my fairy lights on but I couldn't get a good quality photo of it :(
